WALT division

In the 2nd of June 2021 we were learning about long division for example: 5÷685 first i did was find how many 5 fits in 6 which is 1, next step was finding how many 5 fits in 18 which was 3 and last but not least was find how many 5 fits in 35, which makes it 7, now all we have to do is put it all together which makes 5÷685=137

For a next emaple i will be doing 16÷704, first step is to find out how many 16 fits in 7, which is not possible, so we do how many 16's fit into 70 and that is 4 but there is a remender and the remainder is 6 so we add the 6 to the 4 then we get 64 so we do 64÷16 and that equals 4 so our answer is 44
