Knife handling skills - Safety
Study the pictures below carefully about how to safely hold and use a knife while preparing a food item. Attached is a VIDEO also showing some more safe practices. Your teacher will ask you a few questions to test your knowledge before the beginning of the next lesson.
  1.  Hold knife with thumb on blade and index finger all the way bent - this is called pinch grip - other fingers holding the handle
